1) What is love bottle?
Love bottle is a reusable glass water bottle made partially from recycled glass. It has a ceramic swing top lid that creates a water-tight seal.
2) Why is it called love bottle?
Words and pictures carry energy that affect water. Different words can create beautiful water crystals - I like to call it "supercharged" water. Every printed bottle has the word "love" on it, charging your water with the energy of love. To learn more about the water crystals, please visit hado.net
3) Can I write other words on my love bottle?
YES! Customize your love bottle and express yourself! The design allows you to write and draw on the printed areas of the bottle. This is a place for you to express what you want more of in your life, or what makes you feel good. Because if you feel good when you look at your bottle, you will feel great drinking from it!
4) How else can I customize my bottle?
Place silicon bands around the bottle to add color and words, and to improve grip. Add stickers to personalize your bottles. You can choose stickers with a preprinted design or blank stickers that you can design yourself! Bands and stickers are available on this site, or you can use your own. Start with a blank bottle, or a bottle with a printed design. There are countless ways to customize your bottle. You are only limited by your imagination!
5) Why use a glass bottle instead of plastic or stainless steel?
Water just tastes best out of glass! Try a taste test at home and compare the taste and feel of a glass love bottle against the taste and feel of plastic, steel, or aluminum. Another benefit of glass is that it does not contain harmful chemicals. Some plastic water bottles leach harmful chemicals into your water and into the environment. Also, water looks beautiful in glass bottles. When the light catches the water in the bottle just so... you feel like you are really drinking something special.

7) Is love bottle good for my health?
Water in general is very good for your health, and many of us are not getting enough of it. If you tend to drink a lot of sugary or caffeinated drinks you may experience frequent energy and blood sugar swings. Switching to water can help reduce these swings and normalize your energy throughout the day. Many love bottle users write in about how they drink more water when they use their love bottle. 8) How do I clean my bottle?
The bottles are dishwasher safe, but the printed designs may slowly fade with frequent washings. Gentle hand washing can help your design last longer. If you are only using the bottle for water then a daily rinse with an occasional wash can do the trick.
To wash: put some soapy water in the bottle, close the lid, shake, and rinse. Occasional cleaning with our cleaning brush can help reach those hard to get places.
*Do not use extreme temperatures when using your bottle as with any glass product.
9) Where are love bottles made?
Love bottles are made responsibly in China. The company, Love Bottle Co., is based in Portland, OR and the bottles are housed and shipped out of Oakland, CA.
Our original and continued desire is to manufacture our bottles domestically. However, the large minimum orders make this currently out of reach. As love bottle grows and word spreads we hope to transition to domestic manufacturing.

12) Should I use filtered water or tap water in my love bottle?
This is a debatable question and depends on the quality of your local tap water. The quality of tap water varies from city to city. Visit the EPA web site to learn more about your local tap water.
13) Can I take my love bottle on an airplane?
Yes! It is safe to bring your love bottle on the plane with you. Just remember to drink all the water before you go through security. Then you can refill your bottle at the drinking fountain on the other side.14) Do you sell bottle covers that let you carry around the love bottles?
Yes! We have neoprene drawstring bottle carriers that have an adjustable strap. The covers come in two colors and in both bottle sizes. You don't need a purse or bag to carry around your love bottle.We also have cooler carriers that keep your love bottles cold for hours.15) What if I don't want to carry around a water bottle?
Keep a love bottle at home and another at the office. Leave your love bottle in your car to stay hydrated wherever you go. Most cup holders fit the small bottle size and you can leave your love bottle sitting in the car all day without worrying about any chemicals leaching into your water.16) How many bottle designs are there?
